Currently, the additional 10 cent reimbursement for all meals and snacks served in the CACFP is set to expire on June 30, 2023. This extra reimbursement has been vital for the CACFP community during the pandemic and continues to help providers operate the CACFP. The Helping Schools Feed Kids Act of 2023 was introduced in the house to extend the additional 10 cent reimbursement in the CACFP through school year 2023-2024.
